now, here's a bit more about us:

Billy Joel Jr. is an indie rock band from Chicago fronted by songwriter Ari Levin with bandmates Charlie Dykstal, Nate Dorian, and Karl El Sokhn. They've performed their slacker tunes across the Midwest,and have made a name for themselves with their live performances; lauded for explosive chemistry and tongue-in-cheek slacker rock energy. In December 2024, the Chicago Reader named them "Best Emerging Band of 2024" after releasing their first EP ‘Rubberhose’. Their debut full-length album "Ur A Star" has everything indie rock devotees have come to love: sardonic melodies, wistful guitar playing, and an indie sleaze sound that harkens back to early Pavement and The Pixies.
